Sustainably Sourced

Nearly ten years ago, Harbour Lights made the bold step to only sell fish from sustainably sourced stocks. It is important to us that our customers can feel confident that we are doing all we can to ensure the fish and chip industry has a long and viable long-term future. The cod, haddock, and Hake we serve has MSC certification. Where we can’t source a product under the MSC guidelines we have made the decision not to sell these varieties that need our protection, mainly Cod Roe. Our fish comes from far and wide as well as just off the end of the quay.
